Personal Biography

Danette Lilja loves to travel. She's lived in or visited 44 different states and 17 different countries. From hiking Kilimanjaro to traversing the Inca Trail, adventure is in her blood. Although it is the people she meets on her journeys, more so than the destinations, that keep her planning the next expedition. Adventures, however, do not have to be strictly foreign affairs, when she and her husband venture out locally, they head to the mountains to bike, camp, and climb fourteeners. When it comes to less adrenaline-filled activities, Danette chooses a yoga class or sharing a meal and glass of wine with loved ones.
